A believer in the power of wearable stories.

by rohan sarkar on Dec 16, 2025
A believer in the power of wearable stories.

There are some moments your memory refuses to file away. For me, it’s the first time I walked into a store filled wall-to-wall with graphic tees—fifteen years ago, back when designs were loud, racks were overflowing, and it felt like the whole world had been printed on cotton.

I remember standing there, fingers grazing fabrics, scanning through anime references, band art, witty one-liners, and strange little illustrations that made no logical sense and yet somehow felt like me. I didn’t know it then, but that feeling—of being unexpectedly seen by a T-shirt—would follow me for years.

That is the feeling that built Ceeshirt.

When a T-Shirt Was More Than Just a T-Shirt

Back then, choosing a graphic tee wasn’t just a shopping decision. It was a tiny act of rebellion, a quiet confession, a subtle signal to anyone paying attention: this is what I love, this is what I believe, this is what makes me laugh.

You didn’t need a stylist. You don't need an influencer to validate your choices. You just needed that moment of electricity when a design on a hanger connected with something inside you.

Somewhere along the way, that spirit disappeared.

Life accelerated. Deadlines, EMIs, responsibilities. Fashion chased trends so fast it forgot how to have fun. Graphics got safer, more generic, less personal. The tees that once felt like secret messages started to look like templates.

But the craving never went away.

Why Ceeshirt Had to Exist

I started Ceeshirt because I kept meeting people who lit up when they talked about “that one old tee” they still kept in their wardrobe—even if it was faded, torn, or two sizes too small now.

Students, exhausted and running on caffeine, still wanted shirts that made them feel like main characters, not background noise. Parents juggling work, home, and chaos wanted something that reminded them they’re more than just the roles they play. Kids and teens—caught between who they’re told to be and who they want to be—needed safe, expressive ways to experiment with identity.

Everywhere I looked, I saw the same quiet desire:
“I want to wear my stories again.”

Not just logos. Not just trends. Stories. Passions. Fandoms. Humor. The parts of us that don’t fit neatly into LinkedIn bios or formal introductions.

That’s what Ceeshirt is built for.

Wearable Stories, Reimagined

Ceeshirt is my answer to the question: What if that golden era of graphic tees grew up with us?

I wanted everything I loved back then—but upgraded for the life we live now.

  • Better fabrics because we’re not 15 anymore, and comfort matters as much as expression. Our tees had to feel soft, substantial, and breathable—the kind of fabric you instinctively reach for on your busiest days.

  • Better fits because bodies are different, preferences are different, and one generic pattern doesn’t cut it. Oversized that drapes just right, regular fits that flatter without clinging, silhouettes that make you feel put together even when your day isn’t.

  • Better prices because it shouldn’t take a payday or a discount festival to buy a T-shirt that feels like you. One tee should not compete with your monthly grocery bill. Expression shouldn’t be a luxury product.

No compromise. No cutting corners on quality to hit a price point, and no inflating prices just to look “premium.” If I wouldn’t proudly wear it on a random Tuesday and a big day, it doesn’t pass.

The Brand I Want To Live In

People often ask, “What’s your long-term vision for Ceeshirt?”

Here it is, honestly:
I want to open my wardrobe one day and realize that every single piece hanging there is something I built. Not from ego, but from alignment.

The anime tee reminds me why I fell in love with storytelling.
The witty quote that pulls me out of a bad mood.
The quiet minimalist piece that feels calm in fabric form.
The gym tee that makes “I’ll go tomorrow” sound less convincing.

I’m not building Ceeshirt to tick a founder box or chase a valuation. I’m building the brand I wish existed when I went looking for something that felt like home on my skin.

A brand that respects nostalgia but refuses to be stuck in the past.
A brand that understands budgets but never insults your standards.
A brand that doesn’t talk down to you with complicated jargon, but simply asks, “What do you love?” and then hands you a way to wear it.

A Believer in Wearable Stories

At its core, Ceeshirt is a belief system disguised as clothing.

I believe that what we wear on our most ordinary days matters more than what we wear on rare special occasions.
I believe a T-shirt can be a conversation starter, a shield, a comfort object, or a little rebellion.
I believe students, parents, kids, and everyone in between still deserve that dizzy, electric feeling of finding a design that says, “Oh. That’s me.”

Ceeshirt is where that belief lives.

It’s not just a brand I’m building on spreadsheets and strategy decks. It’s the brand I genuinely want to wear every single day—on the days I feel unstoppable, and on the days I’m just trying to keep it together.

If you’ve ever held onto an old tee longer than made sense, you already understand what I’m trying to create.

This time, though, the fabric is softer.
The fit is better.
The price is kinder.
And the story?
That part is still entirely, beautifully, unmistakably yours.
